Use My Device As MCP

Connect a macOS or Linux device to Codex and other MCP-capable AI clients without opening an inbound port on the device.

The CLI prints a device code. During this Beta, send that code to your service administrator for approval, then keep the Device Agent running.

Security first

Every MCP key uses Read Only, Custom, or Full Access within a locally approved device maximum. For stronger isolation, run DesktopCommander inside the Docker Sandbox boundary.

Windows has not been verified for the first Beta. Never paste an MCP access key into an AI conversation.
